STOMP is explosive, inventive, provocative, witty, and utterly unique–an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages! The international percussion sensation uses everything but conventional percussion instruments–matchboxes, wooden poles, brooms, garbage cans, Zippo lighters, hubcaps–to fill the stage with magnificent rhythms.
Spectral Sisters Productions (SSP) presents "What Had Happened Was…," an evening of provocatively original ten-minute plays, Thursday, May 29 through Sunday, June 1, 2025. SSP's 10-Minute Play Festival features contest-winning works by local and regional writers and casts of local players. Shows are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (May 29–31) and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 1, 2025. All tickets are $10, general admission, and can be purchased in advance or at the door. (Parental discretion is advised. Some performances may contain adult-themed subject matter or language.)

Come and enjoy a new show in our East Bank Gallery, featuring the acrylic paint & ceramic works of Derek Sarvis titled "Impressed".
In "Impressed", Derek draws on conventions of both impressionism and abstract expressionism to create contemporary landscape and color field paintings. His recent ceramic works expound upon these paintings by turning the 2-D patterns and rhythms found in his paint work into functional 3-D vessels.

Coming to the Virginia Cook Gallery is this June is "The Inner Realms" by local artist, Dyra Turner!
In "The Inner Realms", Dyra works with oil paint and glass mosaics to blend themes of transformation and imagination, creating pieces that reflect personal growth and invite viewers to connect with their own experiences.

The Shreveport Regional Arts Council and Bossier Arts Council present monthly GloFests debuting new light shows on the "Bakowski Bridge of Lights" on the Texas Street Bridge. Glo Fests will rotate between the Shreveport Riverview Plaza and the Bossier Louisiana Boardwalk and will feature an Arts Market, Food Truck Court, Street Performances by Spinner Entertainment and more! These FREE festivals will introduce new animated light shows on the "Bakowski Bridge" produced by the Light It Up Artist Team and Caddo Parish Students. The June Glo Fest will feature a student designed show to kick off the party, followed by a program honoring their Adopt a Light Patrons, a Light Show made during ArtBreak and another chance to see Academy Award Winner William Joyce's dynamic light show from their opening night.
