Would you like to visit the castle of the Wicked Witch of the West – or the Parthenon in Rome? How about going on a journey with Alice in Wonderland or a visit to the castles of Westeros? Before there were digital creations, 3-dimensional images were produced with paper in the form of pop-up books and printed peepshows (also known as tunnel books). The Noel Collection’s latest exhibit features examples of these intricate and fascinating works of art from the mid-1800s to the present. We invite you to go on this journey with us as we explore places both real and imaginary.
The Scottish Society of the Louisiana Highlands invites members and friends to join together in celebrating, in words and music, the immortal memory of Robert Burns and Scotland’s heritage.
