Each week, host Kermit Poling brings you recent performances by one of our popular symphony orchestras. These broadcasts have become a popular part of our broadcast schedule. Tune in and see why!

NEW SEASON
December 3 - The 2021 Holiday/Christmas special by the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra and the Centenary College Choir.

November 25 - The South Arkansas Symphony performs You Heard it at the Movies, featuring music from great film scores.

November 18 - The Marshall Symphony Orchestra performs a concert featuring guitarist Giovanni De Chiaro, playing music of Mozart, Vivaldi and more.

November 11 - The Shreveport Symphony performs a concert featuring music of Schumann and Saint-Saens, with guest violinist Jennifer Frautschi.

November 4 - The South Arkansas Symphony performs a concert featuring the music of Benjamin Britten and others.

October 28 - A program from the Shreveport Summer Music Festival, featuring music of Poulenc and more.

August 28 - The Shreveport Symphony performs music of Bloch and Bach, with special guest pianist Simone Dinnerstein.

August 19 - A concert from this past June, featuring the music of Poulenc and Dvorak, performed by the Shreveport Summer Music Festival orchestra with guest organist Ken Cowan.

August 12 - The South Arkansas Symphony performs an All-Rachmaninoff concert, featuring the Symphony Dances and more.

August 5 - The Shreveport Symphony performs music of Mendelssohn on a program called Viva Italia!

July 29 - Broadway Star Craig Schulman performs a program of hit songs from musicals highlighting Monsters and Mad Men of the stage with the Marshall Symphony Orchestra

July 22 - Violinist Calvin Alexander performs Sibelius's Violin Concerto on a concert by the Marshall Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Kermit Poling.

July 15 - From the 2022 Shreveport Summer Music Festival, Kermit Poling conducts Dvorak's Serenade for Strings. Organ virtuoso Ken Cowan performs Poulenc's Concerto for Organ, Timpani and Strings.

July 8 - Violinist Jennifer Carsillo and pianist Simone Dinnerstein perform a chamber music concert, including works by Glass and Beethoven.

July 1 - The South Arkansas symphony performs the annual Symphony on the Square in this archived concert featuring bass Keron Jackson.

June 24 - A program from the archives of the Shreveport Summer Music Festival

December 3 - The Shreveport Symphony performs music of Bloch and Bach, with special guest pianist Simone Dinnerstein.

November 26 - Violinist Jennifer Carsillo and pianist Simone Dinnerstein perform a chamber music concert, including works by Glass and Beethoven.

September 17 - The Marshall Symphony performs a program of Baroque Music.

September 10 - Shades of America, a concert by the South Arkansas Symphony featuring music of Copland, Poling and more.

September 3 - The 2021 Symphony on the Square, performed by the South Arkansas Symphony and featuring vocalists Maddison Gilcrease and Aiden Poling

Aug. 27 -  Pianist Alon Goldstein performs Beethoven's Emperor piano concerto with the Shreveport Symphony, conducted by Michael Butterman.

Aug. 20 - Organist Charles Gilbert jons Kermit Poling and the Marshall Symphony for music of Poulenc, Holst, Walker and Bach.

Aug 13  A program of Beethoven and more, performed by the Marshall Symphony Orchestra.  Vatsal Vemuri, winner of the Juanita Miller Competition, is the featured guest artists.   

Aug 6 2021 - The Shreveport Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Michael Butterman, performs the 4th symphony of Mahler.   Features soprano Janani Sridhar.   

July 30 - A performance featuring pianist Alon Goldstein, performing music of Mendelssohn with the South Arkansas Symphony.

July 24 -  Two brief concerts performed by the Shreveport Symphony this past October.   Features an all string concert with special guest Calvin Alexander and an all wind concert of Mozart's Gran Partita

July 17 - Carmina Burana, as performed by the South Arkansas Symphony and over 250 choral singers from Arkansas and Texas.   Conducted by Kermit Poling.

July 10, The Marshall Symphony is joined by organist Charles Gilbert for a concert of music by Bach, Poulenc and more.

July 3, The South Arkansas Symphony perfoms a concert of patriotic and pops favorites.

June 25, 2021 - The Shreveport Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Michael Butterman, performs the 4th symphony of Mahler.   Features soprano Janani Sridhar.
