This week on our Regional Symphony Broadcast, The Marshall Symphony will be featured, conducted by Kermit Poling in a program that opens with the Dance of the Comedians from The Bartered Bride by Bedřich Smetana. The program also features Rachmaninoff's Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op. 43, with pianist Steven Dong, winner of the 2017 Juanita Miller competition of the Texas Association of Symphony Orchestras. This concert concludes with the Suite from the magnificent Firebird Suite by Igor Stravinsky.
