  • Sunday, Nov, 26, 2023, at 1 p.m. Host Ranae Moran is joined by Mark Palm, co-founder and CEO of Samaritan Aviation. For the people living in the remote villages of Papua New Guinea, any medical emergency can lead to death, as the only hospital is a one to seven day canoe ride away. Since 2010, Samaritan Aviation has been flying life-saving missions in the East Sepik region, providing emergency medical transport, delivering much needed medications, and providing disaster relief. Palm shares about the mission, hazards and joy of serving the people in the region.

Philip Remington Dunn has been a celebrated criminal defense attorney in Southern California for over thirty years. As a Christian, he has been able to use his faith to help recover countless souls, salvaging those who might otherwise have become victims of their own conduct and the criminal justice system. During the course of his career, he has been given the Ventura County Criminal Bar Association award for “Distinguish Contribution,” recognition as a “Local Hero” by The Santa Barbara Independent newspaper, and “Special Contribution” to the criminal justice system, by the California State Assembly and the United States Congress.In “Eternal Justice,” Dunn tells the riveting stories of people who most would have thought lost forever but who were redeemed by God and then, in return, used their lives, stories and faith to help others.

  • Sunday, July 10, 2022, at 1 p.m. The homeless around us can go unnoticed, but at the age of 22, Cassie Hammett had a heart for the homeless and began to lend a hand to help. This subsequently brought her into contact with victims of human trafficking, specifically women who were sex trafficked. In 2007, Cassie founded the Hub Ministries, initially to assist the homeless through their Lovewell program. The Hub grew to include their Purchased ministry, helping women and children who have been victims of trafficking. Both programs offer a path to restoration. On this episode of Illuminations, Ranae Moran talks with Cassie to learn more about trafficking and the Hub Ministries.
