Welcome to Shreveport's first A MERRY TUBACHRISTMAS debuting this December 16!
The HOLIDAY EVENT is open to everyone who plays (or even used to play) a Tuba, Sousaphone, Baritone or Euphonium and anyone who wants to listen to them. This is a community gathering of “low brass” and “High Holiday Spirits!” You’ve been singing the Holiday songs for years, now you are going to play them…along with 100 other Tuba lovers!
This 2023 holiday season marks the 50th year of MERRY TUBACHRISTMAS and we hope this will become an annual Shreveport tradition. If you would like to participate, go to shrevearts.org/tuba to find out to register. If you just want to hear a lot of euphoniums and tubas playing Christmas Carols, just show up! It's a magnificent sound!
