Airs Tue., Sept 1, 6 p.m. Join us Tuesday for the next episode of Bird Calls. Our guest will be Dr. Bruce Beehler, an ornithologist and research associate at the Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of Natural History. We’ll discuss his books, travels, and field work in a remote jungle of Indonesia that led to the discovery of an undescribed species of bird. I’ll also profile the Blue Grosbeak. Questions will be taken at 1-800-552-8502.
