Airs Monday, July 20, at 1 p.m. This week on the San Francisco Symphony, Music Director Michael Tilson Thomas will be joined on stage by violinist Alexander Barantschik for the beautiful Romances for Violin and Orchestra by Beethoven. Then composer Mason Bates performs electronica on his work The B-Side. Maestro Tison Thomas will finish the concert with Beethoven's Symphony No. 7 and the Adagio from Symphony No. 10 by Mahler. Rik Malone will host this week's concert by the San Francisco Symphony.
