Please join us for Stand for Justice, Shreveport, our annual gathering of supporters, advocates, and community members to building a more just Louisiana.

This year's event will feature Calvin Duncan, exoneree, author of The Jailhouse Lawyer, and nationally recognized justice advocate. After spending more than 28 years wrongfully incarcerated, Calvin has dedicated his life to supporting those impacted by wrongful convictions and advancing criminal legal system reform.

The evening will also provide an opportunity to meet members of the IJLA legal team, learn more about our work across Louisiana, and connect with others who believe in freedom and justice.

The Ladies Philoptochos Society of St. George Greek Orthodox Church’s annual Holiday Greek Pastry Sale. Preordering guarantees selection. A variety of pastries, sweet bread and frozen Greek food. This Christmas season, voices from across the region are coming together for A Carol Mosaic, a community Christmas concert presented by Asbury, Broadmoor, and First United Methodist Church Bossier.

Join us Sunday, December 13, at 6 p.m. at Asbury United Methodist Church, 3200 Airline Drive in Bossier City, for an evening of beloved Christmas music, including O Come, O Come, Emmanuel, The First Noel, and O Holy Night.

Admission is free, and everyone is welcome! A love offering will benefit the Louisiana Children’s Home, with 100% of contributions going to support children and families.
