On the back drop of a charming farm, this homestead conference features expert speakers on homestead topics from sourdough bread making to bee keeping, backyard produce, chickens, food preservation, and much more! Food trucks will offer lunch & snacks. There will be a chef demonstrating how to cook lamb and offering taste tests. A bluegrass band will be playing during the lunch hours. And a playyard for the kids offers parents the opportunity to shop over forty handcrafted vendors!

Proceeds from this event will go towards transforming Louisiana Association for the Blind’s headquarters building into the areas premier Assistive Technology Training Center where people who are blind or visually impaired can purchase and train on the latest technology that helps access the world around them.
