Godzoola: An Evening of One-Act Plays including God of Carnage and The Zoo Story

Godzoola: An Evening of One-Act Plays including God of Carnage and The Zoo Story

Centenary Theatre Program (CTP) present “Godzoola, An Evening of One-Act Plays” featuring the combination of God of Carnage followed by The Zoo Story. The production opens Thursday, October 20th at Centenary College’s Marjorie Lyons Playhouse for a one-weekend run, closing Sunday, October 23. Tickets are on sale now. Go to www.centenary.edu/mlptickets.

Charlie Roppolo, a ’22 CTP alumnus, directs Yasmina Reza’s Tony Award-winning God of Carnage, while John Gayle, an ’83 Centenary alumnus, directs Edward Albee’s The Zoo Story. From God of Carnage, which a New York Times reviewer described as, “a study in the tension between civilized surface and savage instinct,” to the provocative and suspenseful interaction between two strangers depicted in The Zoo Story, these short plays examine and illuminate the human condition.
