Following the Ninth

Ranae Moran is joined by Michael Butterman, Music Director for the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra, on this "Spotlight" to talk about the documentary film, "Following the Ninth," which explores the impact of Beethoven's final symphony and its timeless global impact, including its ability to bring unity, healing and restoration amid some of the most troubling and historic events. The film will show at the Robinson Film Center, 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20. Maestro Butterman will answer questions from the audience after the show.
