— Louisiana has followed a nationwide trend of workers leaving their jobs since the onset of the pandemic, a phenomenon economists call “The Great Resignation”.
— The Texas Department of State Health Services reports that monkey pox is spreading in the state.
— Portions southern Arkansas, northern Louisiana, east Texas and southeast Oklahoma will see temperatures reaching the upper 90's along with heat indices as high as 110 degrees making for an uncomfortable workday.
