— A legislative committee is now seeking to hold a former Louisiana State Police Superintendent in contempt for refusing to turn over his full journals regarding the 2019 death of Black motorist Ronald Greene.

— Farmers are facing many challenges this year; on top of dealing with mother nature, they are navigating pandemic fall-out, things like employee shortages, and then there’s inflation.
— A proposal to allow Louisiana high school seniors statewide who have failed to reach graduation requirements to do so by meeting other standards has been rejected by the state education board.
