Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards and his office have been under fire amid recent news reports that he may have known more details about the 2019 death of Motorist Ronald Greene early on but didn’t say anything publicly for political reasons. He addressed these allegations at a press conference yesterday. The National Weather Service has issued winter storm advisories ahead of the coldest weather of the season that will hit Texas later today and gradually move through Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Will the region have a repeat of last year's February winter storm?
Chuck Smith brings more than 30 years' broadcast and media experience to Red River Radio. He began his career as a radio news reporter and transitioned to television journalism and newsmagazine production. Chuck studied mass communications at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia and motion picture / television production at the University of California at Los Angeles. He has also taught writing for television at York Technical College in Rock Hill, South Carolina and video / film production at Centenary College of Louisiana, Shreveport.
