Easter Sunday, April 5

9 a.m. With Heart and Voice Music for Easter. An Easter Celebration: Music of exaltation and triumph greets the dawn on Easter, as we celebrate the Resurrection with glorious choral and organ music! Join Peter DuBois for the celebration!

12 p.m. Easter Sunday from King of Instruments. Music for Easter Sunday and works based on Easter hymntunes and chants.

1 p.m. Illuminations—The Resurrection of Jesus. Ranae Moran is joined by Dr. Gary Habermas to talk about the historic evidence of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

2 p.m. Easter Joy from Wind an Rhythm. Each piece has a celebratory aspect to it fitting for a time of rebirth and renewal, featuring works from some of the greatest composers of Western music, like Johann Sebastian Bach, Georg Friedrich Handel, and Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov.

Monday, April 6

11 a.m. The Easter Connection from Capitol Public Radio. The Easter season, and the music it inspires, combine tragedy and triumph, sorrow and celebration—joining with the coming of spring as a symbol of hope, renewal, and new life. Join host Stephen Peithman for orchestral and vocal works by Bach, Handel, Wagner and Rimsky-Korsakov.

Sunday, April 12

11 a.m. With Heart and Voice. The second Sunday of Easter is known as the Octave of Easter. Join Peter DuBois as we continue our celebration of Easter with music of joy and praise.
