Health Matters: Lung Cancer and Smoking Cessation

Health Matters, 6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 18, 2021. Lung cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in both men and women. Quitting smoking can help decrease the incidence of lung cancer. On this Health Matters we talk with Dr. Robert Holladay, Professor of Clinical Internal Medicine and Program Director for the Interventional Pulmonology Fellowship Program at LSU Health Shreveport, about the etiology of lung cancer and the latest treatments. We are also joined by Jarrod Mitchell, Cardiac Rehab Coordinator at Willis-Knighton Health System, to talk about smoking cessation. Questions will be taken at 1-800-552-8502.
