Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 6 p.m. The topic of discussion for tonight's Conserving Earth, will be Louisiana’s coastal restoration planning. What does coastal sustainability mean for Louisiana after having lost 2,000 square miles of coastal wetlands in a century? It’s not just a local concern for people living in south Louisiana and loss of critical wildlife and fish habitat. It impacts the nation’s transportation and energy sectors. Bren Haase, executive director with Louisiana's Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority, and Dr. Alisha Renfroe, coastal scientist with National Wildlife Federation, join host Rebecca Triche.
