The city of Shreveport has a new chief of police. Yesterday at a press conference at Government Plaza downtown, Mayor Adrian Perkins announced his pick for the top cop job. According to a new report from the American Lung Association, Texas isn't doing enough to prevent tobacco use in teens and adults. And neighboring states Arkansas and Louisiana aren't doing much better according to the association's findings.
