Airs Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 12 noon. The 2018-19 Metropolitan Opera Radio Broadcast season continues with Don Giovanni, Mozart’s dark comedy based on the legend of Don Juan. Luca Pisaroni stars as the rakish and unrepentant title character, with Ildar Abdrazakov as his put-upon servant Leporello, and Rachel Willis-Sørensen as the wronged noblewoman Donna Anna. Making their network broadcast debuts are Federica Lombardi as Donna Elvira, Aida Garifullina as Zerlina, and Stanislas de Barbeyrac as Don Ottavio. Cornelius Meister also makes his network broadcast debut conducting the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra and Chorus. The performance will be heard live over Toll Brothers-Metropolitan Opera International Radio Network at 12:00 noon CT on Saturday, February 16.
