Dr. Tracey Burrell

Dr. Tracey Burrell serves as Recruitment and Retention Supervisor for Bossier Parish Schools. Dr. Burrell obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Print Media from Alabama State University. After an experience at a YMCA summer program during her junior year in college, she decided to become a teacher. Dr. Burrell holds a Master of Education in Secondary Education with a concentration in English Language Arts from Alabama State University, as well as a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Doctorate of Education in Leadership Studies from LSU Shreveport. She has over 20 years of teaching experience in public schools in Louisiana and Alabama. Dr. Burrell is married to her college sweetheart, Cassius Burrell, and they have two incredible children. Her family is the core of her life, always inspiring her to learn and grow. She thanks God for the many blessings He continuously bestows upon her family and her work.
