Free Series Offered To Small Business Owners On Securing Government Contracts

GOV’T CONTRACT HOW-TO’s: State and federal agencies spend billions of dollars on goods and services each year most purchases under $250,000 are reserved for small businesses. But a lot of business owners miss out because they simply don’t know how to go after the contracts. The Northwest Louisiana Procurement Technical Assistance Center is partnering with the Shreveport-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce to present the "Government Contracting Series for Entrepreneurs! " It’s a free, four-event series will take you through the basics of winning government contracts. Carolyn Tillman, Executive Director of the Shreveport-Bossier African American Chamber of Commerce explains more.

“The first series starts on Thursday, August 4th and it is entitled ‘Success in Government Contracting’. It will be a discussion from clients sharing their stories, their success with government contracting and how to engage in securing government contracts,” Tillman said.
