INDY BOWL CANCELED- The Army’s football team from West Point Military Academy was set to play in this year’s Independence Bowl in Shreveport but officials with the bowl announced yesterday that for the first time in its 45 year history – The Independence Bowl will be cancelled. The reason:

PAC-12 teams, along with 6 ACC and several other teams opted not to participate in the post season due to coronavirus concerns. The game was scheduled for December 26th at 6pm in Shreveport’s Independence Stadium. The bowl is sponsored by Radiance Technologies and was to be televised on the ESPN cable network.
