Severe Weather Affects Red River Radio Transmitters

Severe weather in our coverage area has been affecting several of our transmitter locations. Oncore is reporting more than 19,339 customers without power and Swepco reports more than 56,704 customers without power as of 4:15pm today. We are working diligently to keep our facilities up and broadcasting throughout this weather event. Tornadic activity and lighting associated with this storm has caused several issues throughout the power grids across the three state region.
