La. Ballot - Constitutional Amendment 5

LA BALLOT ISSUES -   November 6th Election Day is fast approaching and there are 6 constitutional amendments on Louisiana’s Ballot.  To get a better understanding of what each amendment addresses, we asked Jeff Sadow, associate professor of political science at LSU in Shreveport to give  a quick overview of what each amendment entails.  Click the audiolinks below to hear the segments and you can get more voter information by clicking theweblink near the bottom of this page 

LA CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT 5 - Tax Exemptions For Property Held In Trusts 

Expand tax exemptions  for people 65 and older, disabled military veterans and their spouses, and spouses of military members and first responders who are killed in the line of duty.
