Employers meet with job seekers from military backgrounds in Sept. 2014 at the Bossier Civic Center.

The Bossier Chamber of Commerce will host its spring Veterans’ Job and Resource Fair Tuesday. More than 50 businesses and educational resources will be on site.

These job fairs have a history of helping experienced and highly-motivated veterans find work.

This military-focused job fair will be the 11th one put on by the Bossier Chamber since 2011.

The chamber said in a news release, to date these job fairs have served more than 600 veteran job seekers and included over 150 businesses.

The fairs also connect job seekers with service programs and educational opportunities.

Sponsors of the event include Aeon PEC, The Port of Caddo-Bossier, Bossier Parish Community College, City of Bossier City, Goodwill Industries of NWLA and Northwestern State University.

The event is open to veterans, active-duty military, and their spouses. It will be held Tuesday, April 5, from noon to 4 p.m. at the Bossier Civic Center, 620 Benton Rd.
