Produced by music historian Paul Ingles with the help of a panel of musicians and music writers. Commentators include Bonnie Raitt, Sara Watkins, Mark Kemp, Beverly Keel, Peter Case, Holly Gleason, Paul Zollo, Peter Cooper and John Kruth. Also archival recordings of John Prine through the years are included. At this writing (April 7, 2020), John Prine is hospitalized in Nashville being treated for the Covid-19 virus. Part two will air Friday, April 17, at 9 p.m.
