This week on From The Top, 14 year old Antonio Ajero from Nacogdoches will be one of the featured students on a show filled with piano music. Antonio “Nio” Ajero was past winner on the Red River Radio Young Artists Competition in 2014, 2015, & 2016. Simone Dinnerstein will guest host the program featuring a piano duo of “Laideronnette, Empress of the Pagodas from Ravel’s Mother Goose Suite;” the Theme and Variations from the Schubert’s Trout Quintet; the Liebestraum No. 3 in A Flat Major by Franz Liszt; and the Galop-Marche for Eight Hands – One Piano by Albert Lavignac. Join us Saturday Morning at 11 a.m. for From The Top which also repeats on our HD channel Sunday’s at 2 p.m.
