Senator John McCain's Memorial Service from the National Cathedral.

Airs Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 9 a.m. Senator John McCain of Arizona will be remembered in a national memorial service on Saturday, September 1st at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.  Presidents George W. Bush and Barrack Obama will be among colleagues and friends who will pay tribute to the war hero, senator and presidential candidate. NPR News will be there with live special coverage of the entire service. The special live coverage will be hosted by Congressional Correspondent Scott Detrow.  He’ll be joined in studio by NPR White House Correspondent Scott Horsley and from the National Cathedral by NPR Congressional Reporter Kelsey Snell.
