The American Opera Series from WFMT continues this week with Jacques Offenbach's The Tales Of Hoffmann (In French), starring Vittorio Grigolo as Hoffmann and Kate Lindsey performing the roles of The Muse & Nicklausse. This production also features Nicolas Testé as The Four Villains, So Young Park as Olympia, Kate Aldrich as Giulietta, Diana Damrau in the roles of Antonia & Stella, Christophe Mortagne as The Four Servants, Kihun Yoon as Luther, Theo Hoffman as Hermann, Brian Michael Moore as Nathanael, Rodell Rosel as Spalanzani, Daniel Armstrong as Schlémil, Nicholas Brownlee as Crespel, and Voice of Antonia’s Mother is sung by Sharmay Musacchio. The Chorus Master is Grant Gershon and the stage director was Marta Domingo. The LA Opera Orchestra and Chorus are all under the direction of Plácido Domingo.
