Airs Monday, December 19, at 1 p.m. This week on the next concert by the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra maestro Susanna Mälkki will take the podium and will be joined by pianist Jeremy Denk who will take on the challenges of Bartók'sPiano Concerto No. 3. The concert will open a tone poem by Griffes, the White Peacock, and we'll also hear the Symphony No. 2 in D major, Opus 73 by Brahms and we'll close with Petrushka by Stravinsky.
