Airs Monday, October 24, at 1 p.m. This week on the Cleveland Orchestra we draw a concert from the archives featuring cellist Mstislav Rostropovich who joins maestro Lorin Maazel in the Cello Concerto in C major by Haydn and the Cello Concerto No. 1 of Saint-Saens. The concert will open with the overture to La gazza ladra by Rossini and will close with Till Eulenspiegel’s Merry Pranks by Richard Strauss.
