Airs Wednesday, February 17, at 1 p.m. Led by Dr. Anthony Trecek-King in concert at New England Conservatory’s Jordan Hall in Boston, the acclaimed Boston Children’s Chorus celebrates the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. According to Trecek-King, “… it’s so important for the singers to know what they’re singing about … and the importance of Martin Luther King … and what he meant to all of these children’s lives.” The chorus expresses that mission through traditional spirituals as well as selections by Woody Guthrie, Stephen Foster, Carly Simon, among many others.
