Louisiana Public Square: Louisiana's Congressional Priorities

LPBLogoVote.png

Airs Sunday, November 2 at 6 p.m. In November, Louisiana voters head to the polls to decide who will represent them in Washington, D.C. This month, Louisiana Public Square explores what issues matter to the electorate and what the priorities should be for the state's next congressional delegation. Should the focus be on job creation or tax relief? Should more funds go towards coastal restoration or securing the Southern border? And what role should the state's delegation play in the future of the Affordable Care Act? Join us as  Louisiana Public Square examines "Louisiana's Congressional Priorities," Sunday at 6 p.m. on Red River Radio.

Our panelists will be:
Pearson Cross, Ph.D., ULL Political Science Department
Jan Moller, Director of the Louisiana Budget Project
James Richardson, Ph.D., Economist with the LSU E.J. Ourso College of Business
Stephen Waguespack, President of the Louisiana Association of Business and Industry

The program also features interviews with Mike Henderson, Director of LSU's Public Policy Research Lab; David Sobek, Ph.D. with LSU's Political Science Department; Brenda Hatfield, AARP Louisiana President; and Robert Newman, Ph.D., economist with LSU's EJ Ourso College of Business.
