Spotlight: Shreveport Little Theatre's production of Oliver!

Host Kermit Poling speaks with cast members from SLT's coming production of Oliver!, the Musical. Scott Hardwick (Mr. Bumble) and Jason Coffel (Fagin) are the guests.

Shreveport Little Theatre is excited to announce that tickets are now on sale for the beloved musical Oliver!, a special joint production featuring both the SLT MainStage and the SLT Junior High Academy.
 Based on Charles Dickens’ timeless novel Oliver Twist, this classic musical follows the adventures of a young orphan who escapes the harsh confines of the workhouse and finds himself in the bustling streets of London. Along the way, he encounters a colorful cast of characters, from the Artful Dodger and Fagin and his gang to the kind-hearted Nancy, all set to a memorable score that includes favorites like “Food, Glorious Food,” “Consider Yourself,” and “As Long As He Needs Me.”
  This collaboration brings together seasoned performers and young artists to tell a powerful story of resilience, compassion, and the search for belonging. The production is directed and choreographed by Laura Beeman Nugent, with Music Direction by Nathan Gay. The creative team also includes MainStage Assistant Director Brittany Gay, Junior High Academy Assistant Director Allison Rebekah Miller, and Production Stage Manager Lela Robichaux. Design and production staff include Set Designer David White, Lighting Designer Julie Edwards, Sound Design Jacob Alexander Webb, Properties Designer Jason Coffel, Costume Designer Julia Parr, and Set Construction by Jade Dishman and Eugen Crook. 
 Oliver! stars Emma Kate Fox as the title character Oliver Twist and David Dumlao as the Artful Dodger, with featured performances by Jason Coffel (Fagin), LisaAnn Kemper (Nancy), Colleen Andrews (Bet), DJ Wojciehowski (Bill Sikes), M. Robin Smith (Mr. Brownlow), Scott Hardwick (Mr. Bumble), Susan Beal (Window Corney), Luke Digilormo (Mr. Sowerberry), and Leslie Hobgood (Mrs. Sowerberry).
