Tickets are now on sale for Shreveport Little Theatre and Academy’s second 103rd Season Main Stage production of Steel Magnolias by Robert Harling. Hilarious and touching, this play is set in Truvy’s beauty salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana, spanning three years where the staff and customers engage in small-town gossip. This is the beauty shop where all the ladies who are “anybody” come to have their hair done—including Ouiser, Clairee, M’Lynn, and Shelby.

The cast is led by Kelly Feducia Hodgson as M’Lynn Eatenton, with Catherine LeBlanc as Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie, Olivia Willcox as Truvy Jones, Wallace Rakoczy as Annelle Dupuy-Desoto, Paula Sample as Clairee Belcher, and Patricia Stuckey as Ouiser Boudreaux.

Guest director Cherrie Sciro will direct the show, with Katie B. Watts serving as Assistant Director, and Saige Williams serving as Stage Manager. The production staff includes Andrew Thrasher as Assistant Stage Manager, David White as Set Designer, Jason Coffel as Sound Designer, Julie Edwards as Light Designer, Susan Beal as Costumer, Jade Dishman and Eugene Crook as Set Construction, River Young as Running Crew, and Oliver Lock as Light/Sound Board Operator.

Steel Magnolias runs for two consecutive weekends, opening October 25th at 7:30 PM with performances on the 26th, November 1st, and 2nd at 7:30 PM and October 27th, November 2nd, and 3rd at 2:00 PM.
