Northwest Louisiana Master Naturalist Hosting Membership Drive and Orientation Meeting on March 23

Shreveport, LA - The Northwest Louisiana Master Naturalist group is hosting a membership drive and orientation meeting on March 23 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Red River National Wildlife Refuge, located at 150 Eagle Bend Point in Bossier City, LA.

This event is open to the general public and provides an opportunity for anyone interested in becoming a Master Naturalist to learn more about the organization and its mission. Attendees will have the chance to meet current members, learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities and hear from area subject matter experts.

During the meeting, door prizes will be given away, and refreshments will be provided. Attendees will also be able to sign up for the upcoming training program, which will provide them with the skills and knowledge needed to become a certified Master Naturalist.

"We're excited to welcome anyone who is interested in learning more about the Master Naturalist program," said Rusty Scarborough, President of the Northwest Louisiana Master Naturalist group. "This is a great opportunity to meet new people, learn about the natural world around us, and make a positive impact on the community."

The Northwest Louisiana Master Naturalist group is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting conservation and preservation of natural resources. Members receive training from subject matter experts in the areas of botany, wildlife, ecology, and more. They then volunteer their time to support conservation efforts in the community.
