The Needle in the Pines Quilt Show presented by the Quilt Guild of the Piney Woods will be held at the Lufkin High School Cafeteria on March 18-19, 2022. Show hours are 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Admission is $5. There will be beautiful quilts, vendors, an opportunity quilt and baskets, and handmade crafts at the bazar. The opportunity quilt was made by the late Bettie Ford, one of the members and quilt store owner who passed away in 2019. Bettie was an enthusiastic quilt lover and maker of complex and beautiful pieces of quilted art. The guild is honoring her at this show. The show was originally scheduled in 2021 but had to be cancelled because of the pandemic so there will be an abundance of work done by guild members.
