For Summer Experience 2022, "Oceans of Possibilities," The Bossier Parish Libraries History Center is please to be hosting Dr. Gary Joiner to present a talk on "The Secret Confederate Naval Base in Shreveport." Dr. Joiner is Professor of History at Louisiana State University in Shreveport, where he holds the Mary Anne and Leonard Selber Professorship in History and serves as Chair of the Dept. of History and Social Sciences.
