The Louisiana Pothole Band

Airs Thursday, March 23 at 8 p.m.

The Louisiana Pothole Band has been playing Bars & Restaurants since they formed in 2017. Lane O'Rear describes the band as a Rock and Country infused Folsom Prison Blues unit with a little Chris Stapleton thrown in. Of late they have been moving in more of a Blues direction incorporating songs from BB King and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Recent Venues are The Bayou Thunder Saloon, El Paso Mexican Restaurant, Chimy Vs, and El Potrillo's.

Garrett Boyt, on air 7-9 a.m.

Father Garrett Boyte is the Rector of Church of the Holy Cross, an urban, downtown parish that serves the homeless and poor of our neighborhood. He is deeply committed to bringing the love of Christ to people wherever they may be and brings new energy and imagination to our church, our parish, and our ministries.

Shane Rasmussen, On Air 9-11 a.m.

Dr. Shane Rasmussen is currently a Professor of English at Northwestern State University, general editor of the Louisiana Folklife Journal, the co-chair of the Louisiana Studies Conference, and the co-chair of the NSU Louisiana High School Essay Contest. He is currently serving as a member of the Louisiana Folklife Commission. Since August 2008 he has been the Director of the Louisiana Folklife Center and the Natchitoches-NSU Folk Festival.

Angie White, On Air 4-6 p.m.

Angie White is a certified economic developer and also Chief Operating Officer for North Louisiana Economic Development Partnership. She describes herself as an organizational structure nerd, technical education cheerleader and a networking queen. Tune in 4 p.m. tomorrow for some fun with Angie and make your donation of support.

Dr. Randy Brewer and Dr. Sanford Katz, On Air 6-7 p.m.

Dr. Randy Brewer and Dr. Sandy Katz are co-host of Health Matters, on Thursdays at 6 p.m. Dr. Randy Brewer is a pain management specialist whose practice is the River Cities Interventional Pain Specialists. Dr. Sanford Katz is a radiation oncologist. He has been involved in numerous research projects, including projects involving head and neck cancer and prostate cancer.
