NW LA DIGITAL SURVEY- As working and online-learning becomes more common these days – thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic – having high-speed digital access to the internet is crucial. The Caddo Parish School system seeks to identify areas without adequate internet access and is asking citizens to take part in the Northwest Louisiana Digital Survey which was launched earlier this week.
Otis Ellis is Chairman for The Digital Infrastructure Committee and explains how the citizens of Caddo can participate.
"Shreve Memorial Library System is putting the survey up on their internet as well as on their Facebook feeds," Ellis explained. "So there's a digital format but there's also a hard copy format that's going to be run in the Shreveport Times and The Shreveport Sun (newspapers) and the survey takes about a minute to complete."
Survey hard copies are available at any Shreveport Library branch and the Caddo Parish School Board Central Offices and Services Center. Residents can submit completed forms at contactless drop boxes at those sites. Final drop off date is September 7, 2020.
