SAYS BILL WAS RUSHED -- Sen. Tom Cotton, R- Arkansas, believes “the House moved a bit too fast” on efforts to repeal and replace Obamacare. Cotton appeared on Sunday's FACE THE NATION on CBS and explained: “To release a bill that was written in secret and then expect to pass it in 18 days I just don’t think was feasible,” Cotton, a vocal opponent of the American Healthcare Act, recollected on the passage of Obamacare, and described the long-term efforts made by Democrats to pursue a national system of health care took much longer than the 18 days the Republicans took in assembling a replacement bill. Cotton also mentioned that Washington will need to revisit this issue in the future.
