Red River Radio Spotlight: Shreveport Symphony Orchestra's Sci-Fi Spectacular

Airs Friday, May 3, 2019, at 11 a.m. Ranae Moran spoke with Kermit Poling who will conduct the Shreveport Symphony Orchestra in a Sci-Fi Spectacular at First Baptist Shreveport and the orchestra will be joined by the Shreveport Bossier Community Chorale. Music from Star Wars, Star Trek, Back to the Future, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, The Twilight Zone, Battlestar Gallactica & more. Also, on Sunday, May 5, at 3 p.m. in the LSUS Auditorium the SSO Chamber series concludes it's season with a program featuring Claude Bolling's Toot Suite, Night Tide for Marimba & Trombone by Buss, Pair Up for Marimba & Trombone by Wright, and The Avatar for solo bassoon & chamber ensemble by Wilson.
