Airs Friday, November 23, 2018, at 9 p.m. This week on the Caravan we'll start with a holiday travel getaway show featuring music from the 70s, 80s, 90s, and 2000s and take a musical journey through the past, present, and future accompanied with facts about traveling by plane, train, car, boat, spacecraft, and even on foot. We'll hear selections from The Seldom Scene, Tom Paxton, Barbra Streisand, Christopher Cross, Crystal Gayle, The Front Porch String Band, Kathy Mattea, Simon & Garfunkel, and tons more, including music from TV, movies, and Broadway. The in our second hour we'll feature a concert by Scott Ainslie recorded live at the House of Beede, and in our final hour we'll listen for The Cry of the Snow Lion with tracks from Joan Baez, Sam Pacetti & Gabe Valla, Natalie Merchant, Daniel Lanois, Sandy Denny, Nirvana, and more.
