COMING TO ARKANSAS -Second City Summer Blockbuster will perform June 14th at the Murphy Arts District's Griffin Music Hall in El Dorado, Arkansas. Second City launched the careers of  Bill Murray. Tina Fey. Stephen Colbert. Amy Poehler.  Just like comic book super heroes, they too have an origin story, and it begins at The Second City. This summer The Second City presents the next generation of comedy superstars in Summer Blockbuster. Leave your 3-D glasses at home, because the explosions of laughter will be real.

Red River Radio's Chuck Smith spoke with Second City member Allison Banowsky who shared her story and also revealed a little of what audiences can expect of the Summer Blockbuster performance.

There will not be real explosions. But surprises abound as Chicago’s famed Second City ensemble combines great sketch comedy with on-the-fly improv to create new sidesplitting, knee-slapping (and sometimes groan-inducing) realities out of thin air.

Recommended for mature audiences.  For performance and  ticket information www.eldomad.com
