LOUISIANA TAX REVENUES: Louisiana has begun a new fiscal year that started July 1st. Much has been made of the state’s budget situation and come next July 1st in 2018, the state’s one-cent sales tax will disappear and unless state lawmakers act, there will be a $1 billion-dollar PLUS fiscal cliff so-to-speak.
