LOUISIANA STATE PARKS MAY CLOSE - With summertime vacations coming up,  some Louisiana state parks operating in the red may close due to state budget woes.  Hodges Gardens and North Toledo Bend State Parks in Sabine Parish have been put on notice for closure after June 30th unless the state intervenes.  A bill to be put before the Louisiana Senate would give Lt. Governor, Billy Nungesser authority to seek public-private partnerships to help make state parks more financially stable.
