CRIME PREVENTION FOR HOLIDAY SHOPPERS - Leaving packages, purses and other items of value in plain sight on a car seat is an invitation for would-be thieves to break into a car and make off with your possessions.  Police recommend keeping things hidden or in the trunk to avoid becoming a crime victim while shopping during the holidays.
