HOLIDAY CRIME DETERRENT - The Christmas shopping season is in full swing and so is the Bossier City Police Department's  Armed Robbery Task Force as more police officers will be logging in overtime in an effort to prevent crime among retail businesses, especially late-night convenience and grocery stores.
The task force has been a tradition beginning in 1987 and has been considered a success in reducing armed-robberies in the city during the holiday season.

INCREASED PATROLS - The Bossier City Police Department will have an increased presence at local stores during the holidays.
