Texas Conservation Alliance Holding Outdoor Event at Ratcliff Lake Recreation Area Saturday

NATURE WALKS,  LONGLEAF PINE TALK, and BLUE GRASS: Texas Conservation Alliance’s annual meeting, Saturday, September 24 at Ratcliff Lake Rec Area, will be styled after the Wilderness Pow Wows long a hallmark of TCA.  We’ll have guided nature walks and a fun program featuring Kent Evans, Coordinator of the Texas Longleaf Implementation Team, and music by local bluegrass band Hickory Ridge.  More information and directions,  go to: http://tcatexas.org

Chuck Smith
Chuck Smith brings more than 30 years' broadcast and media experience to Red River Radio. He began his career as a radio news reporter and transitioned to television journalism and newsmagazine production. Chuck studied mass communications at Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia and motion picture / television production at the University of California at Los Angeles. He has also taught writing for television at York Technical College in Rock Hill, South Carolina and video / film production at Centenary College of Louisiana, Shreveport.
